Friday I’m in Love (on a thursday).

So it’s my fathers birthday today and also my day off from college so in a rather good mood. This week has been fairly standard, nothing too exciting has happened. We started applying to UCAS at college which is scarryyyy, I definitely need to get my act together with open days and where I definitely want to go. Brighton is my first choice or somewhere in London. Gabi and I went to see Metronomy last night too, they were rather beautiful. The awkward moment when you faint as soon as they walk on stage though, Gabi wasn’t too happy about having to move from our prime spot.

It seems like so long ago since we were all at Bestival (precisely two weeks, so not even a long time ago) however I haven’t got my act together with photos. I’m awful at uploading onto my facebook page and flickr, I really need to get sorted with this. So here are a selection of Bestival shots.
This picture just seemed like the definition of irony, love the electric socket the baby’s playing with !?
This was a random posh  friend we made, I feel really bad for not being able to remember his name. He was trying to convince us he studied dolphin biology, he was actually a swing dancer.
This was the beautiful Prince Harry (on the right), he gave us free pancakes.
Being taught swing dance in a drum & bass tent, we got some lovely looks.

Georgia & Rich.
Megan and I.
Georgia and Rich again, camera whores.
The next morning none of us remember how this picture got on my camera!?
Me.
Rose and I.
Waiting for Patrick to come one, he was a diva and was incredibly late (aswell as putting on so much weight).

Welcome Back.

Sorry for the lack of posting recently, I’ve become so disorganised and unreliable. This past month has been incredible chaotic so sadly my blog has been suffering however hopefully this is all about to change. Some of my activities from the past couple of weeks include starting my art foundation course at college, quitting my job as a waitress, starting to work at H&M, going to Bestival (the festival on the Isle of Wight) and travelling to Cornwall with college (St Ives is beautiful). I feel exhausted however I have a study day from college today so I’m getting organised, inspired and motivated. God reading this back I sound so pretentious, on this note I will finish and start my day of textiles work and researching artists (am looking forward to having lunch with a friend though before she jets off to uni). Also I have stopped wearing my hair extensions, what do you think? Any opinions anyone?

Friday I’m in Love (on a monday).

My Dad had a sort out on his computer a while ago and asked me to move any pictures I wanted to keep across to my mac so here is the result. Below are my fish Lumpy and Ron before they died :(
I can’t decide if I like this picture or not, it has been edited too much but its nice to have a reminder of my old room.
A present for Dad from a holiday to the seaside.
A pile of old magazines (most of which I probably still have).
A macro shot of my Mums flowers.
Trying to decide on Universities, I still haven’t made up my mind. At the moment I’m split between somewhere in London and Brighton.
I loved my vintage tv, damn the digital takeover. It was so old it couldn’t be converted!
Lava lamps are so relaxing, I now have a blue one too which was a present from my sister.

Bath Fashion Museum.

For our summer college project we had to study an exhibition so I chose the ‘Dressing the Stars’. The display presented the clothing and outfits from costume dramas aswell as the other exhibition displaying vintage wedding dresses.
