So basically this week has been complete chaos, the father and his mrs have been in Hong Kong so I've had to babysit myself which can only end in a disaster. The weeks revolved around lots of late nights, fast food and going out. I don't think I've actually slept here by myself all week. Back to reality now though and oh my god, school! Coursework deadlines make me want to cry, lots and lots. However had a facial last night, been the Bristol fashion show, had a makeover, got a job, finished my EPQ (finally!) spent lots of time with the mother and discovered Boost (the best thing since Starbucks!) So all in all a kinda productive week. Sorry for the rushed ramble but will try to catch up on the 30 day challenge asap! Also hope that's so new york aren't too irritated as I haven't written an article for them in foreveeerrrrrr, sorry Daniel!!

Daily Photo Challenge
A picture of something you wish you could forget.
I'm not going to complete day twenty-one as I think that everything in your life happens for a meaning and if you make a horrendous mistake the good will come out of what you learn. Chaos is the only way to describe what's going on at the moment, my emotions are varying from being hideously stressed to not carrying at all which can't be good. It's all deadlines, deadlines, deadlines at the moment so this is a real effort to carry on posting. Also don't know if I mentioned but got my place at Art & Design Foundation place! So very happy about that, juts got coursework and exams to get through yet. Feel so boring never going out any more and stuff but I suppose it is all for the best.

That's So New York - Dr Martens.
Aww had a lovely evening! Was so nice to catch up with Martha and Mother hen and just generally chill. My second article was published this morning, lots has happened but really not in a typing mood as have a hugeeee pile of school work cry. Do have a free house for a week as the father is in Hong Kong so have to try and at least pretend I'm a responsible adult. Oooh and got my Bestival ticket!!

"Only in 2007 did Dr. Martens resume production of their signature footwear in England. Although the latest products are part of a ‘vintage’ line and incorporating the original specs, there is a massive amount of modernity about their designs. At the 2010 Fashion Show in New York the brand won multiple prizes, one for ‘most popular men’s footwear in latest fashion’ and another for ‘best counter-cultural footwear of the decade’. It is certainly true that history as well as fashion repeats itself, the twenty-first century proved this as Dr Martens rose up from a previous downfall after both sales and production moved from the United Kingdom to China and Thailand. However the above product is a perfect example of why they are back with sales peaking. Since the 1960s the brands footwear have been distinct because of its unique air-cushioned sole (nicknamed ‘bouncing soles’) as well as the construction of the sole and upper being sewn instead of glued, which adds to the overall durability of the entire shoe.
Recently floral prints have become a signature among the brands individuality, originally cited with festival-goers in the early nineties and have been adopted by creative and quirky individuals ever since. This collection brings together the punk and bold edge with a light femininity, which is reiterated through the option of a ‘deliciously seductive ribbon lace’. This item can be considered as a statement piece for any outfit, a wardrobe staple which will last decades, or a pretty addition to the spring collection. A versatile ankle boot such as this has many options within an outfit, its works with any style of slim or skinny trousers as well as leggings and tights but can also be suited to flared jeans or paired with pretty dresses and high waisted shorts. Prices range from £50 to £150 however this item is worth the investment with a price-tag of just £102"

Pretty Moon.
Experimenting with my new star filter, real spur of the moment shoot but needed my tripod. Definitely want to play around with it more during sunsets and such!

Friday I'm in love (on a saturday)
Had so many lovely and helpful emails, messages and comments recently concerning my blog so that was very nice however I do have lots of improvements in mind. The first major one I'm going to address is the amount of text, closely followed by the layout so any ideas would be amazing! You will just have to put up with a lot more ramblings.
Yesterday spent the day in London, I've been thinking about university and decided I would love to go to either Central St Martins or London College of Fashion so thinking about living in the capital made yesterday so much better. What an early start, it wasn't nice and Victoria isn't the nicest of places either. However spent most of the daytime mooching around and shopping, bought a nice little floral playsuit and Evie bought the prettiest dress with ruffled detailing. She was a nightmare to start with, lucky I'm so chilled out about everything! We didn't even get lost in the end so she had nothing to worry about :)
The evening was definitely the best bit, waiting outside Hammersmith Apollo in the freezing cold followed by an hour of an awful french electro band and an okay DJ sets you up to be disappointed. But oh my god, Katy Perry was so beautiful and good and she definitely put on a show. The set design and costumes were insane and she had a quirky fairytale come Tim Burton style film as a break in between songs. There is not doubt you have to see her, she was amazing! Slightly disappointed Mr Brand wasn't there but I'm sure we'll live. Also have a nice new addition to my wall, while we were queuing a host was putting poster up on the lampposts however mummy Evange banned me from taking one in but we came to the conclusion that if there was any left on our way out it was meant to be. There was one at the very top of a lamppost, fate! Did get a few odd looks on the tube coming home though.
This image was taken by one of my close friends Martha Anderson and I'm just completely in love with it. Her cat Gary is adorable!

That's So New York - Miso.
So am very excited at having my first article published! Not really a big deal at all but I am very happy about it! Click here to see the full article.

Republic is considered to be ‘the UK’s leading branded fashion retailer’ though until recently I could never be considered suitably impressed. However upon discovering Miso my opinions have altered. Pretty, floral, effortless and vintage are probably the most appropriate descriptions to summarize this range and the spring collection will not disappoint. The seventies trend has been huge on the catwalk this season and there is definitely a boho inspiration to these items. What particularly struck me about the brand is the practicality of the clothes as well as being directly on trend differ from some of the more extroverted items currently on the high street. Ditsy floral prints paired with nudes are lovely for spring whether demonstrated through a maxi dress, playsuit or sheer blouse. A personal favorite of mine is these beige chinos, the versatility of an item such as these is endless and at £32.99 they are a definite must for any Spring/Summer wardrobe.

Denim Jacket & Bunnies.
Denim jacket; Primark Horse & bunny print dress; BS8
Last summer I pretty much lived in this jacket and as it's lovely and sunny I thought it was time for it to come back out. The dress is pretty and the material is so floaty it feels as if it isn't even there.
